Violence Prevention Program

Our Violence Prevention Program empowers youth with the tools and skills to handle conflict, manage emotions, and make safe, positive choices. Through workshops, mentorship, and guided discussions, we teach strategies for conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and healthy communication. Our goal is to create a safe space where young people feel supported, allowing them to develop the confidence and skills needed to avoid negative influences and make constructive life choices. By providing a positive outlet and nurturing environment, we aim to reduce street involvement and foster a stronger, safer community for our youth.

Program Goals

  • Provide youth with constructive activities and guidance to minimize exposure to negative influences and keep them engaged in positive, structured environments.

  • Teach participants effective strategies for handling disputes peacefully, reducing the likelihood of violent behavior.

  • Equip youth with techniques to manage emotions like anger and frustration, enabling them to respond to challenges thoughtfully.

  • Foster a community where youth can build healthy, supportive relationships, improving their social skills and sense of belonging.

  • Empower participants to become role models in their communities, inspiring others through the positive choices they make.
